Western Americana Day is Coming to Sedona!

How would you like to participate in the re-birth of “small town Sedona”? The City of Sedona, Sedona Chamber of Commerce and the Sedona Airport are proud to announce Sedona Western Americana Day 2007 to be held on September 22. The event will be an all-day fair with booths, food, children’s activities, entertainment, aircraft on display and a classic car competition.

The airport is expanding its aircraft and automobile parking this summer and will now be able to host thousands of attendees and provide parking for hundreds of cars. Companies, groups and organizations, and individuals are being asked to sponsor different elements of the event. In addition, tented booths are available to promote non-profit organizations, service clubs, and area businesses for a fee. Information and forms are online for both the sponsorships and booth space. The event website, www.SedonaFair.com has information and descriptions of the fair along with downloadable forms for participation. Le Manège invites you to take a detour to Chambéry

Chambéry's conference centre is a former indoor equestrian school, converted in 1992 for the Albertville Winter Olympics. It's located right in the middle of the town, and offers a 400-seat amphitheatre and a 700 m2 exhibition space. An extension, with three new rooms, is currently under consideration.

Picture a former indoor equestrian school, built in 1845, and converted to a conference centre a century and a half later, for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. Chambéry's conference centre is called Le Manège, located right in the middle of the town, and noted for its beautiful glass frontage, its interior décor in wood and its fine velvet-covered seating.
