The City of Sedona, Sedona Chamber of Commerce and the Sedona Airport are proud to announce Sedona Western Americana Day 2007 to be held on September 22. The event will be an all-day fair with booths, food, children’s activities, entertainment, aircraft on display and a classic car competition. The airport is expanding its aircraft and automobile parking this summer and will now be able to host thousands of attendees and provide parking for hundreds of cars. Companies, groups and organizations, and individuals are being asked to sponsor different elements of the event. In addition, tented booths are available to promote non-profit organizations, service clubs, and area businesses for a fee. Information and forms are online for both the sponsorships and booth space. Our inaugural Cranberry Blossom Festival kicks off Thursday, June 21 and runs through Sunday, June 24. The three-day event will offer world-class blues musicians Saturday night in downtown Wisconsin Rapids and cranberry cuisine from the world’s largest cranberry producing region, the Wisconsin Rapids Area. The festival kicks off Thursday evening with a Downtown Arts Walk and Cinema under the Stars. Get your fill of cranberry treats Friday during the June Dairy and Berry Breakfast, Cranberry Bake-Off and Cranberry Chicken Dinner. Arts, crafts and cranberry products will be available Saturday at Robinson Park with family-friendly activities and live music.
